  For the first time in years, I am going to talk to my other health care providers about reducing medications. I have hope that I won’t need any. I’m also really excited about exercising again, and driving doesn’t bother me anymore. I’m beginning to feel like the old, pain-free me.   Before going to CSS, I’d been suffering through intense back, neck, and shoulder discomfort for over two years. I experienced stiffness, aches, shooting pain, tingling, and limited range of motion. The pain was so constant that people interpreted my consistently straight posture and slow, deliberate movements as regal. The reality was that moving, sitting and standing in alternative positions caused shooting pain and intensified the aches. I had to stop exercising, developed headaches, and dreaded driving. (The seated position prompted additional aches and turning my head to the left hurt.) I could endure physical pain, but watching my quality of life progressively deteriorate was too much. Thinking that the best care would be in expensive zip codes, I started researching chiropractors in Sandy Springs, Vinings, Brookhaven, and Buckhead. But one day in Tucker, while staring at a red light and waiting for it to turn green, my eyes focused on a sign that read, “Complete Spine Solutions”. My neck tingled for the first time. It was not in the magical, this-is-a-sign-from-above sense. It was in a manner that screams, “Nerve damage is eminent; you need help asap”. Desperate, I made a mental note to comb through their website. Their site discussed, “Chiropractic BioPhysics”, something the chiropractors in high end neighborhoods never mentioned. That approach intrigued me. I decided to call and make an appointment after confirming that my insurance would cover care there.
